i'd look for hackney to be the region player of the year.

I think that Jamie Hackney should be hands down all state. The kid is just amazing to watch. He needs to smile a little more so people doesnt think that he's mad.

i didn't say he hit clutch threes, but every three helps, though he does have a great shot. I also haven't said anything about coach of the year, i don't really care about that, I'm just saying that Salyers is better than Sproles and Derek, not taking anything away from them.

I think that Bishop contributed more than the non blond Odle. I think that Lindsey Burk the little red head deserved something. She played great for a freshman. Congrats to Sarah Saunders and Kristen Mullins Ive watched both team play this year and this was a good pick.

Ideally, the all-district, awards shouldn't be a popularity contest or manipulated by a few coaches for whatever personal reasons they might have. In reality, it happens.

This is not the first time the awards have caused controversy, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I personally think there were some bad choices this year, most notably with POY and COY. But, in the end, that's just my opinion and it's no more or less relevant than someone else's.

Okay, Codys not on All-LPD but Adam Kiser is?? Im pretty sure he didn't score a point when cody was on him. Gate City should have 3 on that list hands down...and James should be POY.

I wonder which counties politics will be blamed next year when someone from GC gets "snubbed" from an all district team.

I kinda think Jennings and Bolling shouldve been on there but i guess theres not room for everybody
